Previous experience not required (but advantageous) Full training & support provided.

We offer flexible working hours but have particularly high demand during the following times:

Weekday mornings 7am – 9.30am
Evenings 4pm - 7pm
Weekends all hours.
Additional opportunities for night shifts

Main duties of the job

Our Care Assistants work within the Lewisham community enabling our service users to live independently in their own homes. Typical support can include personal care and hygiene, food preparation, administering medication, shopping, and collecting prescriptions, light housework & other domestic chores, companionship, and social support.

You need to be calm, patient, hard-working and reliable, resourceful with an ability to always maintain professionalism, think on your feet and keep a cool head in stressful situations – but above all, you need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people. This role is perfect for you, if you have experience of caring for a relative or other vulnerable people and are looking for a new and rewarding way to put these skills to good use. You must be local to Lewisham, Southeast London.
